JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC

JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC

There are two formulas designed to treat parentheses or lines around the mouth and nose—Juvéderm XC and Juvéderm Vollure XC. The Vollure XC adds volume underneath deep wrinkles and folds to naturally smooth and soften the appearance of deep, distracting lines. The results are expected to last up to 18 months.

JUVÉDERM® XC

This is the second Juvederm formula that works on smoothing moderate to severe lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. The XC formula produces results that are expected to last up to a year.

Who is a Good Candidate for Juvéderm?

Recovery from Juvéderm

Following your Juvéderm procedure, you will require very little recovery time, and some patients even return to work the same day. Side effects are mild and will go away on their own within a few days of the procedure.

You are welcome to return to work but should avoid strenuous activities for the remainder of the day to facilitate proper healing.

Over the next week or so, your results will continue to improve as any side effects subside. Similar to most other injectable fillers, you should avoid massaging or rubbing the injection site to keep the filler in place while it settles into position.

After approximately two days, the filler should be set, and you can rub your face or apply makeup as usual.
