Pouty, Perfect Lips
Lovely, plump, pouty lips are an attractive facial feature. If you would like to enhance your lips, we offer professional lip enhancement treatments to plump thin lips and create a lovely “cupid’s bow” or a more defined lip structure. It can be exciting and rewarding to see the subtle difference created with an increase in the volume of your bottom lip, top lip, or both.
Lip Enhancement at Its Best: Dr. Wise
Dr. Wise is one of the Tri-State Area’s most respected facial plastic surgeons. He is Double Board Certified and has performed over 5,000 facial surgeries to date. Beyond his exceptional level of skill in both surgical and non-surgical enhancements, he has an artistic eye and is able to gauge the precise quantity of filler to use.
Lip Injections: What Filler Should Be Used?
Lip enhancement can be achieved with several types of dermal fillers. Dr. Wise or NP Mayra will determine which filler will be appropriate to achieve your personal aesthetic vision. Most patients prefer lip enhancement with Restylane Kysse, the latest FDA-approved filler in the Restylane line. Designed specifically for the movement of lips, as well as long-lasting results, Kysse injections create a natural, subtle, fresh and lovely look.
Lip Enhancement with NP Mayra

Mayra comes to our practice with many years of experience performing injectable treatments and further clinical training under the mentorship of Dr. Wise. NP Mayra offers lip enhancement procedures at the Wise Med Spa in Wayne, NJ.
How Many Treatments Will I Need for Lip Enhancement?
Patients only need one lip filler treatment, but the results will fade over time. The body naturally breaks down the filler used to enhance your lips, and as such, the longevity of lip filler treatments varies per patient. Retreatment will be needed over time, although the longevity of lip filler typically increases with each future treatment.*
What to Expect During the Treatment?
Lip filler treatments are very short, requiring about fifteen to thirty minutes, depending on what you hope to achieve. The area is numbed beforehand, either topically or with nerve blocks, and Pro-Nox (Nitrous Oxide) is available upon request to ensure patient comfort.
What Happens After Lip Filler Injections?
As with any dermal filler injections, it is typical to have some bruising and swelling. Since everyone's body is different, it's difficult to predict whether either will occur, but both typically subside on their own within a few days, and the lips will settle into their new form within about two weeks. Full after-care instructions will be provided during your visit to the Wise Center for Plastic Surgery.
